SheetPolish — Privacy Policy

SheetPolish is a Google Sheets™ add-on that formats spreadsheets. This policy explains exactly what the add-on can access and what it does with it.

What SheetPolish accesses

• The current spreadsheet only (Google OAuth scope spreadsheets.currentonly). SheetPolish reads cell values and formats in the spreadsheet where you run it, solely to decide how to format them. It cannot see your other spreadsheets, your Drive, your email, or your contacts.

What SheetPolish does NOT do

• It does not send your spreadsheet data anywhere. All analysis and formatting run inside Google's own Apps Script environment attached to your document.
• It does not use AI or third-party processing on your data.
• It does not collect analytics, set cookies, or track you.
• It does not store your data on any external server. The only stored values are your own preferences (chosen theme, options) and a monthly usage counter, kept in your Google account's script properties, visible to no one else.

The one network request

If you purchase SheetPolish Pro and enter a license key, the add-on makes a single request to Gumroad's license verification API (api.gumroad.com) containing only the license key you typed. No spreadsheet content, no personal data, and no account information is included in that request. Gumroad's own privacy policy is available at gumroad.com/privacy.

Payments

Purchases are processed entirely by Gumroad. We never see or store your payment details.

Data deletion

Uninstalling the add-on removes its access to your spreadsheets. To clear stored preferences and the usage counter, contact us and we will explain how, or simply uninstall — the data is inert and tied only to the add-on.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update will be posted at this URL with a new date.
